Even if you’re not a privileged member of the Caboclo populations, you might have heard acai. You might have heard of the huge benefits that it brings those who add it to their diet. You might even have been lucky enough to try something like Pure Acai, which is one of the most popular ways to get the fruit from the palm trees on which to grows to your house.

Even if you could get the actual acai berry to your house — which unfortunately you can’t, because it degrades so quickly and would end up a sticky mess by the time it reached you — there is a lot to be said for reverting to products like Pure Acai.
